It’s not the first time I encourage people to learn other languages. It would be better if everyone did that. Learning other language make the way to change the world less difficult. In short, you widen the range of contents, relationships, experiences you may have. Don’t you think? This world is so competitive! Increasing the ability to reach other people, cultures, environments will help you in many different ways.

Can you imagine how is to have the opportunity to know people from other country? Maybe professionals with the same job than you. Whether with the same dreams or the same goals. That is, for a chemist, learn German would be very useful. It’s because Germany is a country with great investments in Chemistry. Maybe your country isn’t the best environment for your job, because of this, another language would help you a lot.

Meeting people from other countries can also bring great opportunities to you. You can know different cultures. Different clothes, the feed they eat, their behaviours. You will experience many different things and will get many adventures to share with your friends.

However, I’m always worried about provide resources that can help people live better, but that can also help people change this world. The learning of other languages isn’t different. You will reach better results in your career as “change promoter” if you speak other language. I’m a Brazilian youth and I couldn’t share ideas to help people around the world if I didn’t speak English, at least not with the same speed and range. I’m also learning German, because I’m a chemist and I know this language can enlarge my career opportunities. The point is: learning a new language can help us to change the world.

So I continue encouraging people to learn a different language and use it to change their own world (career, personal life, relationships) and the world of other people (charities).

I just read a text at www.churchleadersinsight.com/blog that made me think about this challenges that come in 2010.

This year didn’t start such happy. It didn’t start such sad, too. But what I’m trying to say is we have a not-so-good and not-so-bad year. It isn’t good. We are just waiting and waiting things happen. We have to challenge ourselves and make the difference.

I’m talking about take the oportunity to do something different. It shouldn’t be a year like the others.

The text I was saying shows the problem that many leaders have. And not just the church leaders. Because of this, I hope you read and like the text.

“A person can have the greatest idea in the world. But if that person can’t convince enough other people, it doesn’t matter”.

I was just thinking about this year and I recognize I have to work hard to see my plans come true. Like you know, I develop many kinds of activities here in Brazil, and I think this blog can help me and they who visit it to share information about ways to change effectively the world.

I read many north americans blogs, and I comment too. I like to talk with people about what they think can realy help this world to be better. I confess I am not so good at English language. But I’m learning each day. I will post more frequently, weekly, to be exact. It’s my plan. But first I have to organize my tasks.

We brought happiness to many children, they like so much of our work. I will post here photos, documents, news, about Brazilians actions to help the local community.
